                                     Dr.Sri Siddaganga Shivakumar Swamiji 
                                           (1 April 1907 - 21 january 2019)

 Dr. SRI Shivakumar Swamiji

   The God of all religion's who are all called as a Nadedaaduva devaru (walking god) in the state of Karnataka the one and only is Siddaganga Sri Sri Dr. Shivakumara Swamiji the great son of Honnegowda and Gangamma. Swamiji was an Indian Spritual Leader was born on 1 April 1907 in Veerapura village near Magadhi at Ramanagara district.Swamiji was the head of Siddaganga Matha it's located in the Tumkur District in Karnataka.Swamiji was also founded the Siddaganga Educational Society.Swamiji was philanthropist. He was widely respected by all communites for his Palantropic work .Swamiji was an incarnation of  Basavanna and the Devotee of Lord Shiva.                                       

                                    Education

              Swamiji completed his primary education in Veerapura     Koolimath and the middle school in Nagavalli it's in Tumkur  district.He passed his matriculation in 1926.He was the resident student of the Siddaganga matha.He passed its Bachelor of Arts with Physics and Mathematics as Optional Subjects in 1930.The Swamiji's  journey starts early as 3rd March 1930 he enters the viraktashram and took over as a primacy of the Siddaganga matha.They were acquaintance Kannada, Sanskrit and English Language.

                                           

                                       Awards and Recognition

➤1965 Appreciation of his philanthropic work Shivakumaraswamji was conferred with an honorary degree of Doctor of Literature.

➤2007 Prestigious Karnataka Ratna award given by the Governament of Karnataka the highest civilian award of the state.

➤2015 The Government of India awarded him the Padma Bushana.

         The 111-year-old seer  Sri Sidda Ganga Shivakumara swamiji who was addressed as walking god from the past 2017 Swamiji's devotees and Governament of Karnataka sought Bharat Ratna for them for his Social work. 

                                          Social Work

➤ Sri.Shiva Kumara Swamiji was founded a total of 132 Institution for Education and training that ranges from nursery to colleges for Engineering like Science,Arts.

➤ He Established Educational Institute which offers courses in tradtional learning.They were widely respected by all communities because of their philanthropic work.
  

                                         Trivida Dasohi
      Swamiji called as a Trivida Dasohi means one who provided free food  education and shelter(Trivida Dasohi) the swami's gurukula houses more than 10,000-12,000 childrens are studied from ages ranging from 5-16 years at any point in time and and is open to children from all religions caste and creed.The pilgrims and visitors to the mutt also receive free meals.The annual agriculture is held for the benefits of local populations.

        A P J Abdul Kalam, the former President of India,visited him at Tumkur for the  centennial birth Anniversary of Dr.Sri Shivakumara Swamiji and Praised the initiatives of swamiji's in Education and Humanitarian Work.The Former President of India Dr.A P J Abdul Kalam Spoke about Swamiji that they had said "His Holiness Sri Sri Shivakumara Swamiji of Siddaganga matt of Tumkur is an example of  Spreading the messages of giving.He has been on a tireless mission Socio-Economic Development and annihilations of inequalities in education...on this happy occasion,a message of "Giving" came to my mind celebrating Swamiji's contribution,I composed and recited a poem which i would like to share with you.

Illness And Death

➤ July 2016 Swamiji was Hospitalized with Jaundice and dischared later after treatment.

➤ May 2017 and was diagonised with various infection but completely recovered after treatment and they again hospitalized on September again in the same years.

➤ January 2018 they were diagnosed with pneumonia and a gallbladder infection but made full recovery after a brief hospitalization.In the same year on June 2018 they were hospitalized again for the reappearance of the gallbladder infection and.The Swamiji admitted  to hospital on 1st December 2018, after suffering from liver tube infection.On December 8th,they undervent liver bypass and gladder removal surgeries performed by Mohamed Rela swamiji was discharged after several days spent in the intensive care unit.On December 29th 2018 he was diagnosed with lung infection. 

➤  On 3rd January 2019 they were hospitalized again, On 11th january they were  placed on life support as their condition was deteriorated.

  

   

➤     Swamiji was shifted back to Siddaganga matha On 16th January as per their own will despite a complete lack of recovery.

➤    On January it was a bad day for the karnataka peoples there were in a critical condition after their pulse and blood pressure dropped.Attempt to revive him failed and their were pronounced dead at 11:44 A.M that day.

                                               

    

     They were physically struggled between 2-and-a-half-years their   lives and their job was never to miss the daily routine.That's the spirit of Dr.Sri Shivakumara Swamiji.No ordinary human Beings can servive like a swamiji.They Should be a form of Shiva.They were very happy to read the books.Even at the age of 100 also they were didn't leave pranayama and yoga.
